New ‘Featured Utah Businesses’ Section!
Featured Businesses (all current states)
For nearly a year we have featured various businesses in Utah that are willing to accept Goldbacks as payment at their businesses. The Goldback became popular so quickly that the effort to actually sign up businesses began to lag as resources were diverted to just keeping up with demand. As of today most Goldbacks produced are sold within days and retailers are finding that they must push prices higher to simply maintain any inventory of Goldbacks at all (otherwise they would just be constantly sold out).
We often hear that these are “good problems to have” and they are. Production capacity is being built up for Goldbacks now and we anticipate a new factory being finished by the end of the first quarter in 2021. We also have the New Hampshire Goldbacks that are scheduled to come out towards the end of this year.
In the meantime we are re-focusing our some of our energy back on building up Utah’s featured business network. There are businesses throughout the country (and the world) that are starting to use Goldbacks, however, at this time we are focusing on just the Utah network to emphasize the Utah Goldback as a local currency. If you have a business in Utah and would like to have it advertised for free on this list as a Goldback accepting merchant, then please reach out to us at info@goldback.com.
On the homepage people can now see a link to Featured Utah Businesses Map that currently accept Goldbacks and wish to be advertised as such. We anticipate gradually adding new Utah based businesses to the list, and to eventually have a separate map for each Goldback project in each state. Even if you aren’t in Utah, you can generally barter with Goldbacks all over the world, after all, they are real gold.
