Storing Information
Goldback Inc (GBI) securely stores the information that businesses provide to sign up as either a Goldback Distributor or a part of our Goldback Merchant Network. Such information includes the company's legal name, physical and email addresses, telephone numbers, and contact names. GBI does not divulge this information to third parties except: (1) as provided below; (2) at the company's request; or (3) if legally obligated to do so. This policy also applies with respect to company balances and other financial information GBI possesses.
Sharing Personal Information
GBI does not sell or otherwise disseminate a company’s contact information to any third party. The only exceptions to this are disclosures to contracted general counsel, account portal owners and operators, supported currency issuers, and financial institutions providing banking services to GBI and/or to the company.
Altering Information
Companies may request changes to their information stored by GBI. All such requests must be submitted on-line following authentication of company credentials or through the company’s verified email. If a company loses control of the email registered with GBI, we reserve the right to require proof of identity.
Contact
Companies consent to being contacted periodically via mail, email, phone, or text message by GBI’s general counsel, account portal owners and operators, supported currency issuers, and financial institutions providing banking services as needed.
Proving Identity
Normally, neither GBI nor its contracted service providers request or store information such as social security, passport or driver’s license numbers. If proof of identity is required, then GBI will do so within the legality of established contracts with the company and/or contacts in question.
