Out of Stock? Goldback Production is Being Scaled Up
At the time of this writing we are struggling to keep Goldbacks in stock. The process for creating a Goldbacks has been around since about 2013 but the technology hasn’t been refined enough to have a commercially viable 1/1,000th of an ounce product until 2019. The issue is that the demand for Goldbacks has been so strong in the past few months that it is difficult to make enough of them. That said, at the time of this writing, Goldbacks are still available through any of the retailers listed on our Guide to Getting Goldbacks. At least one of the retailers even allows you to order Goldbacks when they are sold-out such as AlpineGold (primarily a vaulting service).
Valaurum is the company that produces the Goldback. In the past two months they have stopped producing all other Valaurum products in order to focus on only Goldbacks. Even with this focused approach it is difficult to stay ahead of the curve. This month alone website traffic has surpassed any other month since August of 2019 when the Goldback website was formally launched. There are still 10 more days in the month indicating that the record will be set much higher than the previous record in April (Ben Swann did a piece on Goldbacks then).
The solution is for Valaurum to ramp up production to meet demand. Another facility is being planned now that should be operating at the beginning of 2021. In this video Adam Trexler (president of Valaurum) explains that he is raising $2.5 million from private investors in order to achieve this goal. The additional facility will allow for 400% more production.
The new facility couldn’t come at a better time. There are some two dozen other groups that are expressing interest in sponsoring a new Goldback series in other states. Many projects are on hold pending production capacity. People should continue to expect to hear announcements about new projects as time passes.
During a time when there seems to be no rules on money printing it should be no wonder why the Goldbacks are soaring in popularity.
