Introduction and Basics

What is a Limited Early Release Goldback?

Limited Early Release Goldbacks are limited, numbered, graded, state-based collector pieces. Each Goldback in this program features a unique design of the one denominations.

What is the purpose of the Limited Early Release Goldback program?

The program was created to establish more featured businesses in states that have—or will soon have—their own Goldback series.

How to Obtain Limited Early Release Goldbacks

How can you get a Limited Early Release Goldback?

These Goldbacks are designed to be somewhat exclusive, but there are several ways to obtain one:

  • Sign up a business you own in a state with an available Limited Early Release program.

  • Refer a business owner to the program and receive referral credit.

  • Sponsor a state through the program.

  • Purchase one from a distributor or from someone who has earned it through one of these methods.

Which businesses qualify for a Limited Early Release Goldback?

Qualifying businesses must:

  • Be owned by the individual signing up.

  • Be capable of accepting cash payments.

  • Not operate as an MLM or similar structure.

  • Be established and legitimate.

Goldback Inc. has the final say on business eligibility.

How do referrals work?

If you help a business owner discover the program and they sign up, they can name you as their referrer. As a reward, you’ll receive a Limited Early Release Goldback as well.

Do I need special qualifications to refer businesses?

No special qualifications are required, but fraudulent activity related to referrals will result in exclusion from the program.

State Sponsorships and Distribution

How do you get Limited Early Release Goldbacks through state sponsorships?

Sponsoring a state earns you 20 Limited Early Release Goldbacks for that state. These pieces will have lower serial numbers, which are often more valuable to collectors.

How do the numbers work?

Each Limited Early Release Goldback is uniquely numbered, ranging from 1 to the maximum mintage for that series. Collectors often value lower numbers more highly.

What is the maximum number of Limited Early Release Goldbacks for a state?

The total depends on the state. Smaller states may max out at around 2,000, while larger states could reach up to 16,000. The final count is determined by how many businesses participate. The mintage for Florida’s Limited Early Release Goldbacks is 8,000.

Collecting and Availability

How can you buy a Limited Early Release Goldback?

Precious metals dealers may offer some for sale. Auction sites are another option for finding these rare pieces.

What about businesses already signed up in existing states?

If you’ve already signed up your business in a state with a Limited Early Release program, you’ll receive one for that state as they become available. However, referrers for these previously signed businesses will not receive a Limited Early Release piece.

How does collecting Limited Early Release pieces work? Why should I collect them?

We’re developing special binders to help collectors organize and display their Limited Early Release pieces. With only a few thousand complete collections likely to be possible, owning a full set would be a remarkable achievement and could hold significant value over time.
